International framework and domestic experience of web archiving education

Abstract

The context and initial concept of the web archiving training programme is being described that have been developed in the National Széchényi Library in co-operation with the Hungarian Library Institute. The effect of the Covid19 pandemic on training activities is also in focus of this article. An overview is offered about the international environment of training of web archiving, highlighting the training project of the International Internet Preservation Consortium. New education materials focusing on personal web archiving as a sub-topic of personal information management are also introduced.
